The Umang BMC Balwadi Mentor App will enable us to understand the quality of the programmatic processes implemented in the Balwadi classroom precisely (which will be based on her knowledge on Early Childhood Year’s guidelines, policies and implementation of Akar curriculum in the classrooms).
The app can be used online and offline in both modes.
And comes in three languages (Marathi, Hindi, and English).TOT (Teacher observation tool); The different parameters in this tool help to analyse the teacher’s knowledge, skill, and attitude of early childhood education in the Balwadi classroom.QEAT (Qualitative Evaluation and Assessment tool); The parameters of QEAT are based on various indicators like the teacher’s personality, classroom environment, teacher-student interaction at both levels i.e., teacher and child, and the teaching-learning methodology at both levels i.e., Teacher-student assessment, community interaction, record keeping, etc.PTM (Parent Teacher Meetings); PTM is conducted in each Balwadi once every month.
The data of parents attending the meetings are recorded on the App.MTM (Mentor teacher meetings); MTM is conducted by the mentors for their set of teachers.
The attendance data is recorded on the AppTT (Teacher training); TT is a record of teachers’ attendance for the various Balwadi teacher training conducted throughout the year.
